Tell me a bit about your background. How did you first get started with Peerwith? I am a former graduate of Thompson Rivers University, British Columbia, Canada, where I took classes of Business/Marketing and Graphic Design. I have travelled and lived in many countries, and I started working for Peerwith in Seoul, Korea in January 2016 as a Sales Manager. Currently, I am the Director of Institutional Sales based in Bristol, England.
What inspired you to first start working on the Institutional Solutions project? I love working with people and helping people. Peerwith is a great platform that connects researchers from all over the world to improve the quality of their academic work and I wanted to help all these institutions from different countries to succeed in their goals.
What do you find, are the major benefits of Institutional Solutions? First, Consolidated billing – at the end of the month, Peerwith submits a single consolidated invoice to an administrator, covering all the completed requests made by the institution’s researchers. And, Managed budget – Peerwith manages a budget on a prepaid basis, enabling the institution to save up to 20%. Your budget will be used to pay for approved requests until the fund is exhausted.
How is Peerwith approaching publishing challenges in a unique way? Peerwith offers a unique and clear concept of collaboration. The Peerwith team firmly believes in the transparent and direct connection between peers.
What is your number one piece of advice for people who want to join the Peerwith Platform/ Institutional Solutions? Give it a try! I strongly believe that our users are fully satisfied, having a great work outcome improving their academic work and also the opportunity to build long lasting relationships.
